We'll start posting again in the new year, we hope you'll join us!

I listened to one of my favorite podcasts today ( and there were two things that really stuck out to me, but I'll focus on one for now and that is; saying no. There comes a time in your business when you start to spread yourself too thin. When you start feeling that way evaluate who and what you are saying, "yes" and "no" to. Evaluate or reevaluate your priorities and access if you are staying true to the order of those priorities. In my business I had to start saying "no" to clients who were asking me to do things that made my business more stressful on the back-end. Have I lost sales? Possibly, but not many. This is just a small example of where I have had to say "no" when it comes to life and business.
Have you experienced this? When have you had to tell others "no" and how has it affected your business?

A new Banner and SUSAN BENNETT !!

Have you seen my fantastic new Etsy shop banner? If not, here it is:

There is also this one:

I had a REALLY hard time choosing which one to use! Which do you like? I love how the top one ties seemlessly with the page having the white background and my shop name really seems to stand out. But I do love the gold copy against the pink background in the one below. UGH! Both of them are so pretty.

Guess who did them for me? None other then the awesome Susan Bennett from OnesofLove. That's right, go ahead and click on it - it will take you right to her Etsy shop where she sells customized items from chalkboards, nursery items, teacher gifts, birthday invites and more. I gave her a short description of what I wanted as an Etsy banner and she ran with it, nailing what I wanted right on the head -and was done within just a couple days!!

Ok, if you haven't already clicked over to Susan's shop let me point you in a specific direction that may help you if you're in need of the perfect Mother's Day gift. You heard me. MOTHER'S DAY! It may seem like forever away but you only have 3 weeks! I am sure you have the best mom ever, (except probably not because my mom wins in that department), why not tell her with something she can use every day? Or your grandma, maybe?

Get your order in and sit back and relax while Susan does the rest. Want it to say something else? No problem, just let Susan know. She is super easy to work. People, these are only $18. Show your momma some love.

Here are some of my other favorites from Susan's shops. Go check her out, you won't be sorry you did!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but seeing a customers vision come together into a beautiful work of art makes my heart happy. When Jill B. first came to me asking about different floral choices in the shop I was excited about what she was envisioning for a special place in her home.
She wanted bright, happy colors that would flow with the white couch she had decorated with equally energetic pillows.
With little coaching from me, Jill pieced together a beautiful arrangement that will match her decor with such perfection you'd think she bought them together at a home decor store. Below you can see what Jill purchased and how the final pieces came together. Because of the size of the vase Jill had to cut the stems to size. It turned out amazing Jill, well done and thank you for letting me share!!

Monograms beautifully decorated with flowers is one craft that always catches my eye. A simple and SUPER easy way to brighten your space during drab winter months, or a quick project to welcome spring. I found an easy to follow tutorial done with splendid pictures provided by Amy over at Allparenting. The process starts with a simple list of supplies. Add what you don't have to your next crafty shopping list. If floral is one thing on your list but you don't want to spend a bunch of time searching, check out our ready made Grab Bags in the shop.
